Dr. N. Prem Narayan, a doctor by profession and devoted educationalist by choice has been heading the institute as Chairman since 2004. He passed M.B.B.S from Gandhi Medical College in the year 1973, DCH from Niloufer Hospital in the year 1976, M.D Pediatrics from Niloufer Hospital in the year 1976. As part of his mission to spread health awareness to every possible nook and corner, he successfully conducted around 80 Medical Camps jointly with the Red Cross Society, Rotary Club of Secunderabad and Twin Cities Pediatric Association of A.P. He has been conducting the camps for 20 years for the benefit of people in the low income group and for those in slum areas. He raised funds for the disabled in the year of "The Disabled" and provided artificial limbs and calipers. He is instrumental in conducting blood donation camps at various places including his own Nursing Home, at Secunderabad. He reaches out to people of all walks of life through the following Committees that he is associated with.

He completed B.Tech. in civil engineering from Osmania University in 1983 and ventured into real estate business with a missionary zeal. His discipline laced with sagacity, contributed greatly to the prosperity of Salivahana group. He has been associated with SVIT since 2014.
From the day one, his expertise helped in adding value to SVIT in developing and upgrading the infrastructure , human resources, and other facilities. The labs were upgraded with the latest technologies. The students are motivated to do well in academics what with the rewards and prizes given to the meritorious and the skillful in academics and all curricular activities .He strived hard to establish a strong placement cell to provide maximum placements & strong career development training & need-based soft skills training. He is interested in integrating technology, education & research to make SVIT an exemplary institution in preparing competent professionals to meet the challenges of the present global scenario. He believes that his role is to set focus on shaping SVIT into a thriving educational group that contributes to the society and country at large.
He is a strong votary of affordable and sustainable quality education. He started Pallavi Model School,affiliated to CBSE, which is running with a strength of 2500 students at Hasmathpet. Under his guidance, Pallavi Education Society achieved several landmarks & laurels. He is also the chairman of Balaji Arun Education Society which holds the franchise of Delhi Public Schools in Mahendra Hills & Nacharam. He is the pro-vice-chairman of management sub committee of DPS-Sec'bad, Mahendra Hills &Nacharam. A philanthropist at heart with a strong record of serving various social causes, he started Salivahana Foundation which is imparting apparel training with suitable job opportunities to a number of women belonging to BPL families.
Dr. K. Anil Kumar, Honorary Secretary of Swami Vivekananda Institute of Technology, holds a Doctorate in Management from Osmania University. He has amassed an experience of over 20 years in educational institutions as well as in the corporate sector. He is a great visionary and the force behind transition of SVIT from a humble beginning in 2004 into one of the most preferred and sought after colleges offering undergraduate programs in Engineering & Technology. His capabilities both as a valued academician and management professional have contibuted greatly to the consolidation of SVIT as a centre of excellence in a short span of time. He firmly believes that implementation of quality is a vital factor in Higher Education.
Under his leadership, SVIT has implemented a number of initiatives such as continuous and comprehensive assessment of student progress, self-evaluation of teaching-learning outcome at department levels, identification of emerging industry trends and accordingly providing need based training to refine the skill-set of students in addition to regular curriculum. These practices have helped the institution to a great extent in reducing the gap between employment and employability.
